Dearheart Persian Cattery

Health Guarantee

All our kittens will be checked by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our home and come with all shot and vet records.

We are not a kitty Mill

We are a small hobby cattery, all our cats live in our home, free from cages, and are treated as a members of our family.  They are loved dearly, handled daily, and spoiled much by our family!

All our kittens are raised in our home as pets with other cats and one crazy, attention-loving German Shepherd (Molly), who insists on always nosing around, anywhere where the cats are. She is a working dog so, she loves herding the cats and kittens around and since she and Elisha Roi went through the kitten/puppy stage together, these two are the best of friends always instigating with each other.

Who We Are

Thank you so much for viewing our website and considering our cattery for your next fur baby. We love our fur babies here at SlvrPalace dearly. Please make sure you check out the various tabs on the page. We are just one part of a conservation effort and team of breeders who breed what is known as the Fancy Feast/Dearheart Cats. These cats are called Silver Persians in the USA/CFA and in South Africa they are referred to as the Original/Traditional Long-Hair. As a breeder and team, we have strived long and hard to maintain the purest of lines. Please understand that while we do love and appreciate all Persians. This line is our specialty and we do not breed out to or cross with the flat/peke/doll-faced Persians. Just to explain why, if the cats with a flat faced gene were to be bred to one of our cats it would take several generations of breeding their offspring back to our traditional line, just for us to remove those traits. Unfortunately, due to that, this breed and the pure lineage are almost gone. Another and most important reason for not crossing the 2 lines of Persians is simple, health! Crossing the two lines has also been known to cause complications during delivery, causing kittens to get stuck in the birth canal, this is because a kitten could be born with either face and bone structure type, which risks both the life of the Queen as well as her offspring if the kitten would get stuck.. Also, since we do not have the flat faced gene, we also do not have the health issues associated with that gene. Here at SlvrPalace, we believe all Persians (and cats in general) are beautiful, but we have chosen to strive to maintain the health and lineage of this particular breed and line of Persians. Should you decide to choose another breeder, please make sure you choose one who is striving to better their breed or line.  Many cheeper catteries are out there, but they do not do the testing and research needed to insure you get the best of health in a breed.

If you are interested in helping us with that goal, by becoming a part of our network and team of breeders, please fill out a kitten contract and contact me for further discussion. You can use the contact me section on this website to message me personally or reach out through my facebook page “Toni Combs Wolfe” or “SlvrPalace – Dearheart Persian Cattery”. Even if you do not purchase a kitten from me specifically, our group works as a team of independent hobby catteries for the same goal, so when I do not personally have kittens I am usually able to connect you with someone who does or get you on a waiting list for the next available kitten in our network.

Thank you again for viewing our site and cattery
