We are not a kitty Mill

We are a small hobby cattery, all our cats live in our home, free from cages and are treated as a member of our family.  They are loved dearly, handled daily and spoiled much by our family!

All our kittens are raised in our home as pets with other cats & one crazy, attention loving German Shepherd, who insists on always nosing around, anywhere  where the cats are. she is a working dog so, she really loves herding the cats around and since her and Elisha Roi went through the kitten/puppy stage together, these 2 are the bestest of friends always instigating with each other.

Who We Are

Thank you so much for viewing our cattery and website.  We love our fur babies dearly.  Please make sure you check out the various tabs on the page.  We are part of a team of breaders who breed what is known as the Fancy Feast Cats.  They are called Silver Persians in the USA/CFA and in South Africa they are reffered to as the Traditional Long Haired Persian.  We have strived long and hard to maintain the purest of lines.  Please understand that while we do love and appreciate all Persians.  We do not breed out to the flat/peke/doll faced persians.  If those cats have been bred to one of our cats it takes several generations of breeding back to our traditional line to remove those traits, due to that, this breed and the pure linage is almost gone.  Not to mention it’s been known to cause delivery complications during delivery and caused kittens to get stuck in the birth canal and risks both the life of the Queen as well as the kittens.  Here at SlvrPalace, we believe all Persians (and cats in general) are beautiful, but we have choosen to strive to maintain the health and linage of this particular breed and line of Persians.
