HELP US SAVE THESE BEAUTIFUL CATS

By now I hope you have read our legacy page. If you have read the legacy page will certainly know why we are so passionate about keeping these beautiful cats alive and in existence.

So what does it mean to be part of a conservation network. It means as a new breeder, you are not left to figure things out on your own. Let me explain it like this, even though you fully own your cats and you fully own your cattery, you have experienced breeders to mentor you in getting started, setting up your cattery registration so you can register kittens, we also mentor in breeding, delivering kittens, handling delivery complications, nursing and bottle feeding and raising kittens. You name it, we are there to help you walk you through the entire process from bringing home your 1st baby to helping you make sales of kittens. Now in saying that about sales, let me also say, naturally you are responsible for the sale of ALL of your own offspring, but since some of us are more established as breeders we often have waiting lists for kittens so this can be very beneficial to new breeders trying to get established and learning how to market and sell kittens, vet potential buyers and things like that. Some of us in the network are also the ones who assist in genetic matches, since we are conservation and trying to keep these cats in existance the gene pool is obviously small so compatible matches are carefully calculated so not to breed cats to closely related, so that means when we have someone needing a compatible mate for one of their kittens we also help connect buyers and breeders in our team together for the purpose of sales within our group as well. This also helps you to make sales if your kittens are compatible with a team member wanting to add another male or female to their cattery. We also reward those who help make sales by agreeing that when a team member facilitates a sale for another team member. When the sale takes place, the breeder give 10% of that sale to the one who facilitated the sale of that kitten. So if you help another team member sale a kitten, lets say for $2500, that breeder would give you $250 of that sale for helping them find a buyer. So even though we are independent breeders, we work as a team and help one another when we can.

We also have a wonderful facebook group that is a great way to learn, find resources, ect. We have breeder contracts there, pet contracts there, assisted sales fee charts so you know what to give someone for helping you sell and place a kitten. Every breeder has their own method of doing things, we own and use different products, this helps you to see how other breeders do things and lets you learn what you think will work best in your cattery. We also share video’s to help you know what to expect, how to tell a cat is in heat, what a successful breed looks like, how to recognize pregnancy, what it looks like when a cat is about to deliver, what delivery looks like, ect. So you are greatly mentored in breeding. Something I wish everyone who sells with breeding rights would do. Our group will give you the best shot at being successful and help you to build your reputation as a reputable breeder online. You are a completely independent breeder, you are sole owner of your cats and cattery, yet you are part of a network of breeders and a breeding program that has a great reputation in the cat breeding world.

If you are interested in being part of our network and want to purchase a kitten with breeding rights, this is how it works. We do sell as pet, but for breeding rights to be included we do contract heavily though, as one of our breeders, you are contracted not to breed the cat you purchase from us outside of our network. This means you can not purchase one of our cats and breed that cat to a cat not in our network, as this is a health risk to our line and most importantly to our cats. Since we do not carry the flat faced gene, our cats also can not deliver the kittens that would be produced from crossing this line with the modern line of Persians, they are known to get stuck in the birth canal which risks the life of the queen as well as the offspring. For this reason none of our breeders want to risk placing their babies with someone who would risk their life by crossing lines, therefore in order for you to get breeding rights from our breeders, you will also be contracted to our network and to our mentoring program. We make no exceptions for that. Any good reputable breeder requires a mentoring program and wants to know who you are planning to breed their babies to, we are no different in that goal. Many breeders today refuse to sell kittens with breeding rights, due to the numerous growing problem with back yard breeders (BYB’s). We want to help you succeed as a breeder and build an ethical reputation among the breeding community so you can thrive as a new breeder. We want to give you the best chance at succeeding as a new breeder. If you would like to be a part of what we do. please reach out to me personally either on facebook or by email in the contact me section of this website. I would be glad to help you get started and welcome you aboard our team!
