Kitten Contract

Hi Future Owner!

Please visit my kitten application.  Once I contact you and agree to place a kitten with you I will send you a copy of the contract on this page for you to sign.  Please understand these kittens are my babies and I love them dearly.  Also, any reputable breeder will ask you the questions I am asking you, and more. In fact, I have compiled a list of questions to ask from the list of questions they ask.  This is because I want my kittens to go to the home that best suits them as well as you.  I want the placement of a kitten in your home to be successful for your family.  In other words, if I have an adult cat in our network but it doesn’t do well with dogs and you own dogs, I’ll know that is not going to be the best situation for the cat or your family. I want the placement of any and all cats/kittens from my cattery to be a success for you as well as for the kitten. Therefore I ask several questions on the kitten application, please answer them honestly, this does not determine if I will or will not sell you a kitten, this helps me make sure the placement of a kitten is a success for the kitten and you and your family!

I also contract all my buyers before selling a kitten or allowing breeding rights. I am part of a conservation team, so I do not sell breeding rights without seeing the pedigree of any cat you plan to breed my kitten to.  No exceptions to this rule.  I do not support backyard breeders.  This is also to ensure that the cat you are purchasing is a good genetic match with your cat.  With so few of these cats left in existence it requires someone to genetically match them up for breeding so that they are not paired with a cat too closely related, I also require the cats to be either pure dearheart or have dearheart lines so that they can expand our gene pool. The kittens produced at SlvrPalace are descendants of the dearhearts and are also grandkitties to one of the last cats owned by Alida herself so this mission is very important to us here at SlvrPalace.  As these cats are not just Persians.  They are the Traditional Long Hair breed that comes from South Africa. These are the Dearheart line of Persians (USA) aka TLH (SA). The flat-faced Persian is also known to get stuck in the birth canal of these cats so I do not give breeding rights to just anyone or pair them up with just any cat.  You MUST join our team of breeders to preserve the Dearheart Line.  Please view the Dearheart legacy page to better understand and view the contract with this in mind.  I am looking out for the safety of this breed.
